Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need hearing healthcare experience?

No. You do not need to be a hearing healthcare professional to become an MDHearing Ambassador.

We provide training to help you understand MDHearing, our products, the hearing test process and how to appropriately guide customers.

Ambassadors educate and connect customers with MDHearing. They do not diagnose hearing loss or provide medical advice.

How much can I earn?

You’ll earn a 15% reward based on the cost of hearing aids purchased through your unique referral link when the customer keeps their hearing aids beyond the 60-day return period.

There’s no limit to how many people you can refer—the more people you help connect with better hearing, the more opportunity you have to earn.

What happens after I apply?

We’ll review your application to determine whether the Ambassador Program is a good fit. Once approved, you’ll receive access to the MDHearing Ambassador Training.

After successfully completing training, you’ll go through the required onboarding steps, including your W-9 and payment information.

Then you’ll receive your Ambassador resources (such as brochures and educational material) and a unique referral link so you can begin referring customers and earning.

What training is required?

Ambassadors complete the MDHearing Ambassador Training through Thinkific before becoming active.

Training covers MDHearing's products, the customer journey, hearing test guidance, Care Plans, appropriate Ambassador practices, and how to use your Tapfiliate account and referral link.

How are referrals tracked?

Each MDHearing Ambassador receives a unique referral link through Tapfiliate. When someone uses your link and completes a qualifying purchase, the referral and rewards are tracked through your personal Tapfiliate account.

When do I get paid?

Rewards are approved 60 days after the sale (once the customer’s trial period has completed) and paid within the next 30 days. Your first payment may take up to 90 days from your first sale.

With consistent qualified referrals, you may receive payments each month as earlier sales become eligible.

You must complete a W-9 and provide the required payment information in order for rewards to be paid.
