What does an ambassador do?

MDHearing Ambassadors help people learn about MDHearing, understand the resources available to them and take their next step.
Ambassadors may guide someone to the MDHearing hearing test, introduce available hearing solutions or connect them with our team when additional help is needed.
You don’t have to be a hearing expert
Ambassadors are not expected to diagnose hearing loss, recommend medical treatment or act as hearing healthcare professionals.
When someone needs additional guidance, MDHearing is here to help.
That last sentence is important because it reassures applicants that they aren’t suddenly responsible for answering every technical question.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need hearing healthcare experience?
No. You do not need to be a hearing healthcare professional to become an MDHearing Ambassador.
We provide training to help you understand MDHearing, our products, the hearing test process and how to appropriately guide customers.
Ambassadors educate and connect customers with MDHearing. They do not diagnose hearing loss or provide medical advice.
How much can I earn?
Ambassadors earn commissions on qualifying purchases made through their unique referral link.
The exact commission structure and any additional incentives will be provided before you begin referring customers.
How are referrals tracked?
Each Ambassador receives a unique referral link through Tapfiliate.
When someone uses your link and completes a qualifying purchase, the referral and commission are tracked through your personal Tapfiliate account.
When are commissions paid?
Commissions become eligible for payment after all qualifying requirements have been met, including the applicable 60-day customer return period.
Ambassadors must also complete a W-9 and provide required payment information before commissions can be paid.
Payment timing and additional payout details will be provided during onboarding.
What training is required?
Ambassadors complete the MDHearing Ambassador Training through Thinkific before becoming active.
Training covers MDHearing products, the customer journey, hearing-test guidance, Care Plans, appropriate Ambassador practices and how to use your Tapfiliate account and referral link.
What happens after I apply?
We’ll review your application to determine whether the Ambassador Program is a good fit.
If selected to move forward, you’ll receive access to the MDHearing Ambassador Training.
After successfully completing training and approval, you’ll complete the required onboarding steps, including your W-9 and payment information.
Once activated, you’ll receive your Ambassador resources and unique referral link so you can begin referring customers and earning commissions.
